Do you ever get that nagging feeling – the one where you think “something is missing in my life” and that feeling just won’t go away?
This happens to many of us, particularly when in your early 20’s and trying to figure out who you want to be and what you want to be doing in 20 or 30 years. The older you get the more stress you will feel when life feels off course, but it can happen to the best of us. By noticing, well this gives us the chance to alter course, and change everything for the better.
“Not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves.”
Henry David Thoreau
Brian Tracy wrote a book titled Flight Plan – The Real Secret of Success. He explains that life is like an airplane journey. From the time you take off, you will be off course 99% of the time. The pilot continually has to make tiny adjustments to bring the plane back on course so that it arrives on schedule at its destination. In life, you are the pilot of your own life. You are here because you have realised you need to make adjustments.
If you’ve used a GPS device and mistakenly take a wrong turn, you know that the machine will tell you that you are off course and it then will suggest what needs to be done to get back on track.
Life functions in the same respect. Your intuition has told you things aren’t right so now you are seeking a little guidance.
“In the thunder of life, without your light, I often lost my way.”
Debasish Mridha
My suggestion is simple. If you’re feeling lost, you need to quiet your mind for a while to listen to the stillness within that knows your next move. Just contemplate. Ask yourself what makes you truly happy. Your key is to determine your destination. The place that will bring you health, happiness, prosperity and a good life.
“When you live out of your memory, you focus on the past. When you live out of your imagination, you focus on the future.”
Stephen R. Covey
Your first step is to decide what has made you feel off course. You can’t fix what you don’t see clearly. So let this quiz give you the clarity to know without a doubt why life feels off course. Knowing this you can then make a course direction. From then on, you can let momentum take over and get that journey started.
“Losing your way on a journey is unfortunate. But, losing your reason for the journey is a fate more cruel.
H. G. Wells

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
Mark Twain
Once you have evaluated where your life is right now, your current situation as it is, you can then decide upon a different game plan for the future if you’re not happy with where you are.
All the best!
