Here was an individual who stood up for those who had no voice. Steven Spielberg’s movie, “Schindler’s List,” made the world aware of the heroic efforts of a German businessman, Oskar Schindler, who saved more than 1,200 Jews during the Holocaust. By placing them on his employment list, Schindler was able to prevent them from being sent to the concentration camps. He came up against many obstacles, many which threatened his own life, but he carried on and achieved something incredible.
