When you start up you have such motivating dreams, but it is imperative that right from the start you design a business built to create you a substantial profit. Never forget a business is a lot to do with making money. Even if you are bringing your passions alive, in love with the business you are going to build, you cannot get away from the fact, only a business making money, earning profits is going to survive.
When we started up online we had the courage to walk away from our 9-5 salary paying jobs waving goodbye to the security of a steady paycheck and instead opted to take the risk of an unpredictable path.
We certainly weren’t guaranteed quick profits, far from it. We were faced with the uncertainty of getting an income.
But we were future oriented something I believe is key for any entrepreneur, together with a complete belief in what they are doing.
When you make the decision to start your business you were full of energy and feeling excited about what you were creating, and the potential you and your business has. Its’ essential that you hold on to these feelings, keep seeing the winning line ahead, and do everything you need to do to create your thriving business.
How many times have you started something, not finished it, and then gone onto something else. Almost everyone has done it, and some more than others. You must stick with your plan to create this business and complete what you set out to do.
If you’re not dedicated to this, if you’re not going to take it seriously and if you’re not going to work at your online business every day, then you are going to fail.
It’s really not hard to start an online business when you have the right mentor by your side. Take things day by day and within a months you’ll see some real progress towards making your dream business a reality.
When we started we knew from the start we needed to make sacrifices in order to enjoy the fruits of our business sometime in the future. We just didn’t have a crystal ball to tell us how quickly we were going to be able to do this.
Now I love advising others on their entrepreneurial journey. What I know is that everyone has skills, knowledge and experience–and anyone can turn those assets into a thriving business.
To me the key to building a thriving business has been following your passion, create mind-blowing products and structure your business so that you can enjoy the lifestyle that is right for you.
The most important ingredient that determines whether or not a person succeeds is the power of believing in themselves. Entrepreneur success is very much down to your beliefs in yourself and what you are doing.
What we learnt was if you just keep trying, you’ll get there. You’re going to run into a lot of problems running a business so you must have the ability to persist in the face of those obstacles. If you don’t you’re going to fail, no matter how bright or talented you are.
Starting and running a successful business can be rewarding and challenging. Success requires focus, discipline and perseverance. However, success will not come over night – it requires a long-term focus and that you remain consistent in challenging environments.
