How many times do you think to yourself life should be better than this? You seem to go from one struggle to another, you feel that life seems to be an uphill struggle. You look at how things are for you and nothing seems great. The house you live in is not the one you dreamed of long ago. Your health, relationships, business or career all seem to be floundering, and your bank balance doesn’t seem to be able to keep up with the mounting pile of bills.
You know life should be better than this and it’s time for you to ask a powerful question, why has life turned out like this? It’s a question that you need to dig deep within to find the answers. What have you done that was wrong, and what have you not done that would have been right for you? This question not only is essential because you will be affording yourself time for self reflection but also it will start making you aware of the things you need to be doing to make things better, in fact to make a life that’s awesome.
If you don’t you can’t expect things to get any better, in fact you’re going to find as each year passes things seem a little worse, your discomfort will grow, your discontent will show through more and more. I don’t want you getting to the end of your life and being regretful for those things you didn’t do, unhappy by what you did and the life you lived.
So now’s the time to start taking action and bring about your own personal life transformation. You need to believe in the possibilities of you reinventing yourself. Others have before you, more will after you, but now it’s your turn.
I want you to see yourself as a caterpillar. I know not an image you want to represent you, but I beseech you go along with me on this thought. The story usually begins with this very hungry caterpillar hatching from an egg, then it proceeds on an eating binge, consuming everything it can, getting bigger and bigger. Then one day it just stops eating, attaches itself to a leaf or maybe a twig and spins itself into a chrysalis. Within the chrysalis, the process of metamorphosis takes place where this unremarkable creature transforms itself into a beautiful butterfly.
The transformation from caterpillar to butterfly is one of the most exquisite in the natural world, just as yours can be. I know I can help you and by paying a visit to my Reinvention University you can find out about my totally FREE course. I know you won’t believe what I am going to offer you, so it doesn’t hurt to take a look. In a nutshell the most important thing I give you is the process to bring about your metamorphosis, the process needed for reinvention.
I was talking yesterday about a book that I have in my bookcase, and I admit I have thousands. This one is called Your Best Year Yet by Jinny Ditzler. One of her strongest messages that matches my philosophy is before you begin to think seriously about exactly what you want to accomplish in the next 12 months, allow yourself to dream.
What would make it your personal best year yet?
Take some time right now to imagine your future, say 10 years ahead where everything has just turned out perfect. Your metamorphosis has been completed and you now live the life of your dreams.
So start to daydream and just think about what would you see as being your dream life? Reflect on your answer for a little while. Seriously do it, isn’t it time you thought about what you want instead of focusing on always the crap you’re having to deal with, those mounting problems that never seem to go away. Picture your dream life right now. Who are you with? Where are you? What are you doing? What does it feel like? Create a vision that excites you and brings a massive smile to your face. Use that imagination that when you were a child came so naturally to you.
Once you’ve dreamt about your perfect future then get yourself in the right mindset and ask yourself this question – What changes do I want to make starting right now? You will have begun your personal reinvention journey and soon will never again say life should be better than this.
I’m passionate about helping others to reinvent themselves, so ask for help if you need it. I ready to guide you as is my Compass for Life Course found at The Reinvention University
