Failure is your friend on the road to success. Let these examples of those that have failed inspire you and help you in transforming failure to success.
Henry Ford failed and went broke five times before he finally succeeded.
Colonel Sanders had the construction of a new road put him out of business in 1967. He went to over 1,000 places trying to sell his chicken recipe before he found a buyer interested in his 11 herbs and spices.
Walt Disney was fired by a newspaper editor for lack of ideas. Disney also went bankrupt several times before he built Disneyland.
Thomas Edison in his early years, teachers told Edison he was “too stupid to learn anything.” Work was no better, as he was fired from his first two jobs for not being productive enough. Even as an inventor, Edison made 1,000 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb.
What each of these great people demonstrate to us is to never give up believing in yourself, and by believing in themselves they wer able to go on transforming failure to succerss. Whenever you doubt yourself, remember the many inspirational stories of these people transforming failure to success. You simply have to choose to believe in yourself and never give up.
No matter how hard life seems right now recognise that these stories show that no matter the numerous obstacles that stand in your way, determination can help you eventually win through.
Many of you probably avoid the prospect of failure. In fact, you’re so focused on not failing that you don’t aim for success, settling instead for a life of mediocrity. Yet failure is one of life’s greatest teachers you can learn so much from it. To achieve your personal best, to reach unparalleled heights, to make the impossible possible, you can’t fear failure, you must think big, and you have to push yourself. By failing at least you have tried and will be able to learn something from the experience to in reality still move your life forward.
To achieve anything worthy in your life, you must take risks. Instead of fearing failure, we should learn that failures, mistakes and errors are the way we learn and the way we grow.
“Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.” Winston Churchill
What I have learnt, and has given rise to the things I now do, is that from those difficult challenges and failures come important lessons and personal growth. I love this quote from Walt Disney: “Get a good idea, and stay with it. Dog it, and work at it until it’s done, and done right.” He learnt from his mistakes and moved his life on till he achieved unbelievable success.
In the business I have now build I have probably had more failures than successes. Found ways not to do things, but the eventual outcome is I have built a successful business around my passions, so I get to make money from doing things that I love, coaching, speaking and helping others to change their lives. My failures mean nothing more than the part they played in sign posting the right way forward for me.
The main thing that you need to remember is that you can not give up. Just because things do not always look like they’re heading in the right direction does not mean that they actually aren’t. You can not give up or even let doubt creep into your mind you will succeed in living your dreams and become even stronger for making it through the tougher times.
To enjoy success in life you have to be able to pick yourself up when setbacks do occur — and, from there, rise to even greater heights. I share my tumultuous life journey with others, in the hope that they will be inspired to carry on. Transforming failure to success is always possible as long as you continue believing.
