I came through my difficult times, having experienced failure due to my determination to climb up the ladder of success, and my willingness to learn, improve and grow while refusing to give up. If I can do it I really believe anyone can.
We all will go through times of adversity, conflict, and overall suffering where our backs are against the wall. At our worst times it feels as though we are going through the storms of life surrounded by clouds of darkness with no light at the end of the tunnel. But we owe ourselves to look for a way forward, and we can find it.
My major failure served as a defining moment in my life, and was the catalyst for getting my life on to the path that proved to be my destiny. Without it I would never have discovered my true purpose in life, instead I would have created a financial stability but without any genuine fulfilment.
Failure will often be only temporary as long as you show courage, perseverance, commitment and dedication.
As Tony Robbins says:
“I’ve come to believe that all my past failure and frustration were actually laying the foundation for the understandings that have created the new level of living I now enjoy.”
When faced with failure you have two options:
1. You can simply give up destroyed by your pain, regrets, or guilt.
2. You can dig deeper, commit more, work harder, learn and grow so you can climb up the ladder of success.
When you see failure as a blessing instead of a curse you will turn the gift of failure into a stepping stone that leads to the gift of success. You have to bounce back. You can find answers and they lie within you. Give yourself a clean slate and determine what it is you really want to do with your life.
No matter how bad things were for me I never uttered these words “I can’t do it. I give up?” Nothing would have made me surrender myself to failure or accept my dreams would be a thing of the past.
I put everything I had into rebuilding my life and climbing the ladder of success, it certainly wasn’t easy. I would do a full days work then return home and start work on my new online business. In the early days it was a distant dream that I could build something that could become my full time occupation, but within three years I achieved it and was able to spend my full time on it.
I pushed through my failures and overcame what seemed to be impossible odds. We all have regrets. Things that we wished we would have done or known. You must be able to get over them and move on. One of failure’s lessons is accepting your mistakes and misfortunes and making the adjustments necessary to succeed next time around.
I’ve taken every problem, every heartache, every disappointment, every struggle, and never gave up. My world may have been shaken, but I fought through.
