Let me start by telling you something you need to read. Blogging requires a lot of time and dedication before you can become successful. This fact is beyond dispute but many bloggers ignore it, getting discouraged after writing a bunch of posts, and finding no one is reading them. Frustrated by their stats appearing frozen in the single digits – with the majority of views coming from a family member and a few friends.
You are overwhelmed by all the things you have to learn to become a ‘successful’ blogger. You look at blog after blog, reading the articles for guidance trying to break out of the doldrums that your blog seems to be in. .
Sometimes you just feel totally baffled and confused and have no idea what it is you need to do to get traffic to your blog. You read such a lot of diverse advise. Nobody is giving the conclusive way to get your blog noticed.
You already know that starting your blog isn’t the hard part; it’s getting people to actually visit and read your blog that takes work.
Blogging isn’t easy, it takes an awful lot of effort to make a blog successful. Nothing breaks my heart more than going to a blog and seeing ‘0 comments’ under every blog post. Worse still the number of dead blogs that you find when looking around.
All successful bloggers know that you have to spend time and effort building up their blog traffic, subscriptions, comments, rankings. It’s hard work.
Writing articles consistently and the other tasks associated to blogging like blog promotion, web design and engaging in discussions is very time consuming.
Sometimes it can be a fun activity while other times it can feel like an overwhelming chore. Many bloggers have to fit all this in around their regular job.
The number one think I recommend to you, is to be patient. Your blog isn’t going to become an instant success. It’s not going to be the hitting the heights of the blogosphere any time soon. Be patient and don’t give up. It takes time, but your blog can be successful if you are willing to work for it.
If I have ever made any valuable discoveries, it has been owing more to patient attention, than to any other talent. Isaac Newton
Patience is key for a blogger because it can often take months before even the search engines find you, let alone any readers. It will take time before you’ve written enough posts to make your blog worth visiting. It will take a lot of time before your hard work finally pays off.
Hundreds, if not thousands, of aspiring bloggers quit because they don’t see the benefits of their hard work instantaneously. Look its natural to be disappointed , and yes hard to persevere with writing when it seems as though no one is reading what you are putting on your blog. There might be times that you want to end it all and stop blogging, all you need to do is to remember the very goal you want to reach. Stay motivated and be inspired. Take one day at a time and you will see results. You never know you may even become an A-rated blogger.
Every day we grow, so be patient, evolution is slow. Stephanie Leann Sargent
