In my mind I have absolutely no doubts that the key to success for entrepreneur’s is that they must be passionate about what they do.
The day I discovered this out for myself my fortunes began to change dramatically. I wish I had someone to tell me this a long time ago.
But it’s never too late to learn this, and now I am doing something that I love and I can personally say that it has transformed my life in more ways than I could ever have imagined possible. Yet I only started on this part of my journey at the age of 47.
Everyone has their own path, their own journey but once they bring their passions into their business the journey is so much better.
The pity is so many people are so used to struggling through life, doing a job they hate, that they have no belief that there is anything else possible.
I met somebody yesterday, who was completely frustrated by their business failings. A skilled craftsman who was losing job after job to far less qualified people who were under cutting him. He knows that they would do a job far below his standards and this just makes things worse. He has resorted to doing all sorts of odds and ends jobs just to keep some money coming in. I get the feeling this has completely knocked his stuffing out of him.
For him, the idea of pursuing his dreams and making a living doing what he loves was unthinkable. It couldn’t be possible. Opportunities like this don’t happen to guys like him. And he is right of course. Because he doesn’t believe there is any opportunities out there awaiting him. Everything must have a catch attached to it. You could see life has left him very bitter and he has done away with all his dreams and goals. Now all he can do is fight for survival the hard way.
Well it doesn’t have to be like that for anyone. For me following the path of being a lifestyle entrepreneur means I can build a business that supports my desire for freedom, independence and keeping control over my life.
I am sure you have heard the term used, lifestyle entrepreneur. A lifestyle entrepreneur is someone who goes into business for a reason other than the financial rewards of owning a business, and that is because of the lifestyle. A lifestyle entrepreneur is also someone who uses their passion to build a business.
This passion is what brings them their drive but also their confidence. At times this confidence may be seen by others as cockiness. But that’s not what it is. You just find that people who follow their passions, do a job they love, have total faith in themselves when they speak to you about business and opportunity they see things you don’t. Why? Because they’ve found their zest, the path meant for them, so of course they’re going to love everything about what they do. You really don’t have to be miserable while at work.
By becoming a lifestyle entrepreneur you can have the best of both worlds, your business is the one you want, and your lifestyle the way you want to live; it’s the perfect combination.
So how do you begin? First I want to tell you that anyone can become a lifestyle entrepreneur all it takes is some hard work and dedication, belief in yourself, in your dream business, and faith in the passion that drives it. When you possess all these attributes you have all that you need.
I believe that the power behind a lifestyle entrepreneur is they are good at creative thinking and visioning,
They find the big picture of a business and life that excites them. They can see in their mind the business the way they want it to be.
A lifestyle entrepreneur is someone who comes up with an idea that they are passionate about and finds a way to make money with it. It’s amazing the vision that they can see from the beginning when they allow themselves to.
I love having my online stores which are open 24 hours a day, I have no lighting, heating, electricity costs for my shop, no rent or rates, and I’m not holding tons of stock tying up my money. Yet I make a great income, and still find the time, lots of it, to live.
