Happy New Year to you all!
It is good to be back! Yes, after a month of turmoil I am almost ready to get back to being a blogger once again. Thank you to those of you that have persevered with my absence. So much has happened in the past month! There’s a lot of anticipation in the air at the moment, and there is very little that can dampen my spirit of excitement. It’s all the better being able to blog once more.
Sometimes the world seems so big and in such a mess we want to do something about it, we want to make a difference but can we? I believe we all can. We are different, each of us, unique in our own individual way.
It’s important to set an intention and to see it through especially when at the end of it you know it is going to be making that difference for the lives of other people. I love challenging myself, and when I believe it will help others then I’m even more determined to succeed at what I’m doing.
There is nothing better than doing something that makes the difference for other people. From the simple acts to the profound, people helping people makes life and the world a better place!
We are all born with our own message for the world, our own unique message, only we can give that message in the way it needs to be given. This is very important. We need to express ourselves and some twenty months ago Healthy Lifestyles Living Blog was launched and I now had my stage for doing exactly this.
The purpose of life is not to be happy – but to matter, to be productive, to be useful, to have it make some difference that you have lived at all. ~Leo Rosten
It is my site for making a difference in the world. Now that the Holiday season is over and the new year has begun in earnest, I am slowly getting back into the swing of things. In truth things haven’t stopped even with the holidays, because I have been working with my business partner Neil redeveloping Healthy Lifestyles Living. That is what has kept me away from blogging, and the interaction blogging gives me.
I understand patience is a virtue but the last few days were always going to be frustrating, knowing that my blog would be down for a few days and lots needed to be done. But I also know that if you really want something good to happen or want to do something good you must work for it. Good things don’t come to those who wait, only those who earn it. Life doesn’t have a pause button, and many good things pass you by the moment you keep waiting for it. Don’t wait for good things, Act on it and make good things happen. And that’s exactly what we are doing.
Although we had the best intentions of having our collaborative redevelopments completed by 9am today, we didn’t quite manage to meet our self-imposed deadline, but we kept having light bulb moments, and the whole process has been fantastic. In truth there is still much to do, and even when we reopen the blog it will be nowhere near the finished job. Yet I’ll be very proud of it as it is right now. As excited as I am, I’m also nervous as hell. What if my readers don’t like it? Since when has it worried me what others think … so strange!
The year just gone has proven to be really quite an incredible one for of us and yet we believe in the power of technology and innovation. The key element this year for us is to take what we have learnt and create a community that truly makes a difference. We want to change things for people, make what we can better for them. We intend doing this through both personal development, implementation of healthy lifestyles, and support and coaching them to build profitable online businesses around their passions.
Healthy Lifestyles Living is going to be the first example from our All the Missing Pieces Group how a new wave of change can be spread by individuals coming together and doing something amazing as a group. It’s tremendously inspiring in all sorts of ways, and I can’t wait to see how more and more people learn to harness the right way of doing things online to to make a very real differences in the world that were impossible to even imagine just a few years ago. Maybe even the old dinosaurs may actually finally see there is a better way of doing things, and genuiness is not something to be buried in the desperate need to turn a fast buck.
We live in an exciting time, full of amazing opportunities. Innovation and opportunity are keys to growth, and our blog for 2012 you will see has taken a massive leap forward and with its completion in about 10 days, we believe will really be something special. Or am I biased? I’ll leave you to let me know!
I hope you’ll take a look, hopefully it will be back online by 9pm tonight UK time.
